Dear Albany Via Media: The web site is very informative. I have
printed out the individual affiliation form and will be mailing it soon.
However, I have not found the answer to where I can kneel with other diversity
accepting (or maybe even diversity loving???) Episcopalians.
Is there a listing of parishes that are open to discussing theological
issues that are not approved of by Bishop Herzog? I live in Troy, NY.

| Thanks so much for providing a place of refuge for those of us feeling
hurt and alienated by the actions of our bishops in the past six months. You
may notice that there are no parishes listed as member parishes from the
great white North Country, but just because our clergy are “in the
bishop’s pocket” doesn’t mean that the the laity are. A group called
the Concerned Episcopalians of the St. Lawrence Deanery has been formed and our
mission statement states our aim pretty clearly: The
mission of CESLD is to gain support for the Diocese of Albany to remain in full
communion with all the churches in the Episcopal Church, USA and to resist
efforts for Anglican realignment. CESLD provides a forum for the exchange
of information through meetings, a Web site and chat room. For
